Former GODSMACK Drummer Joins LO-PRO

Former GODSMACK drummer Tommy Stewart has joined LO-PRO, the band featuring ex-ULTRASPANK members Pete Murray (vocals) and Neil Godfrey (guitar).

The group, who are STAIND frontman Aaron Lewis' first signing to his new Geffen/Interscope imprint label, tentatively titled A.D.D., will start recording their debut album Jan. 6 with producer Don Gilmore (LINKIN PARK, TRUST COMPANY).

Described by Lewis as a mix of electronica "with very heavy grindy guitar stuff", LO-PRO actually started off as a duo who recorded all the instruments for the demo in their bedroom. Aaron added that the demo sounds better than 80 percent of the albums released today. A summer release is expected.
